- I was born in Charleston, WV. Lost my Dad at the age of 57 and my Mom at 82. I miss her very much. She nurtured us as best as she could. I graduated from high school in 1966. Married in 1967. I am from a family of 7 siblings. Four boys and three girls, counting myself. My Dad was twice married before and I have 3 half-brothers and 1 half-sister. Most of them live in WV and one sister lives in Lousiana, baby sister lives in Ohio with one brother, and the rest live in WV. I live in North Carolina. Moved here in 1985. Have one daughter and a husband going on 42 years of marriage. No grandchildren. I enjoy my two sisters grandkids and everyone else that have children. I work at Duke University, going on 18 yrs. I love working with people. I have met a lot of interesting people in my life since I went to work at Duke. Actors,singers,the New York Yankees team players and famous coaches and Writers and the former president sister. I am a down to earth person. I love the seasons, but, not the cold weather. I enjoy people. I don't like talking on the phone, I would rather email. I love going to church.
